Webometric is an independent ranking initiative that measures and ranks higher education institutions worldwide based on web presence, research impact, transparency, and external links.
Rankings are recalculated twice a year — in January and July — to ensure data remains current and relevant.
We use publicly available web and bibliometric data, including institutional websites, academic publications, and citation databases.
Each institution receives a composite score based on four weighted indicators: Web Presence (40%), Research Impact (35%), External Inlinks (15%), and Transparency (10%).
